The Adult Clinical Research Center (CRC) is a comprehensive center whose mission is to support clinical and translational research throughout Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The CRC provides access to highly trained and dedicated research staff with expertise in Phase I – IV clinical trials. The CRC maintains spacious exam rooms, overnight patient facilities, and laboratory facilities, and offers nursing, pharmacy, and laboratory services for all clinical trial needs. Other services include protocol support, regulatory guidance, and assistance with research budget and/or contract negotiations. The CRC is a hub which brings together basic, clinical and translational researchers to develop novel and productive research projects. The CRC also facilitates interactions with industry sponsors and collaborators in the performance of clinical and translational research. The CRC is a key component in Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s efforts to promote medical research and the rapid development of new therapeutic products and healthcare solutions.

Located on the 8th floor of the new East Tower building adjacent to the RWJ Barnabas University Hospital, this contemporary 11,646 sq ft space is equipped with 4 examination rooms, 4 long stay rooms, 2 infusion rooms, a phlebotomy station with specimen processing and storage laboratory facilities, a fully-equipped pulmonary function lab, ample office space for clinical trial monitoring visits and staff offices, a conference room and an investigational Drug Pharmacy with drug storage capability.
