Research interests
Dr. Ferrante is a family physician, health services researcher, and Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is also the Director of the New Jersey Primary Care Research Network and Co-Director of the Cancer Prevention and Outcomes Data Support Shared Resource at Rutgers Cancer Institute. Dr. Ferrante’s research focuses on obesity, cancer prevention and control, cancer survivorship, and the role of primary care in improving health outcomes and decreasing disparities.
