Project Details
Description
This Foundation grant supports development, strategic planning, implementation, and community engagement for the Joint Program in Population and Prevention Sciences. This partnership between the Child Health Institute of New Jersey and the Division of Population Health, Quality and Implementation Sciences of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Department of Pediatrics, will include the establishment of a research infrastructure, including shared data cores and data analysts so that leaders for population and community-engaged research can address vexing problems of why the health and well-being of so many children and families in New Jersey, particularly those with socioeconomic challenges and those of color, are negatively impacted by systemic factors. The findings from this community-informed research program are expected to generate progressive change to improve the Culture of Health for children in New Jersey and beyond.
