Description
The Foundation's New Jersey Nursing Initiative (NJNI) was designed to address the New Jersey nurse faculty shortage by developing, implementing and evaluating a statewide model for recruitment and retention of nurse faculty.This grant supports the work of the NJNI program office over the next year including: (1) program office personnel and office operations; (2) engaging strategic consultants; (3) convening NJ education and practice stakeholders; (4) engaging the National Advisory Committee; (5) developing and implementing webinars and in-person meetings for the Collaborative Learning Community; and (6) developing a new initiative on strengthening nursing school curriculum's inclusion of a public health framework.
