Project Details
Description
This grant renews support for the Altarum Institute in monitoring and analyzing current trends in health care spending. Affordability of health care is a major barrier to access to care; accordingly, the Foundation has been interested for a number of years in trends in health care costs. Deliverables will include Altarum's reassessment of its regular tracking activities, followed by timely tracking of health care spending and related indicators; interpretation of current data to characterize system performance and trends; in-depth analyses of special topics of interest; and a half-day symposium to facilitate the exchange of ideas among experts on trends in and drivers of health care spending.
