Abstract
A coding scheme for generating dc-free sequences over the bipolar alphabet {-1,1} is proposed. The scheme is based on dc-free coding over larger alphabets. The proposed technique is used to construct several new new dc-free codes with lower encoding and decoding complexity then the existing codes with comparable rates.
