Abstract

A combinatorial framework for analyzing global dynamics and bifurcations is presented. This idea has been implemented as a computer software and tested for several examples of two and three-dimensional maps, such as an agedependent population model called the nonlinear Leslie model, a coupled system of logistic maps called the coupled map lattice, etc.
