Abstract

This work presents a cost-effective, noninvasive, all-in-one platform for tracking the progression of Alzheimer's disease (AD) in patients. An increase in chronic stress and a decline in cognitive abilities and attention have been shown to correlate closely with the progression of AD. As metrics for chronic stress detection, we utilize pulse variation and sweat detection; as measures of cognitive decline, we use a visual short-Term memory test and picture description test; and to measure variation in visual attention abilities, we utilize an ocular biomarker test.
