A direct calculation of the S-matrix of the chiral invariant gross-neveu model

Abstract

Starting from the exact eigenstates of the hamiltonian we calculate the S-matrix for various two-body processes. The result is in accord with the S-matrix proposed by Kurak and Swieca on the basis of factorizaiblity.
