Abstract

Aggressive angiomyxoma is an uncommon neoplasm of the vulva. Although benign, it is infiltrative and can be recurrent locally, hence, the term aggressive. Aggressive angiomyxoma rarely may present in the pelvis. A case of aggressive angiomyxoma arising in the space of Retzius is presented. We have found no other reports of the lesion arising in this location; however, the vagueness of some previous reports on pelvic location does not preclude the possibility.
