Abstract

Some of the existing approaches for constructing multivariate control charts are reviewed and compared. The focus is on nonparametric approaches, in particular the ones based on ranks derived from data depth and antiranks. A brief review of well-known parametric approaches based on the Hotelling T2 statistics for normal data is also provided.
