Abstract

Several drugs are effective in the treatment of head and neck cancer. Clearly, more studies of these agents in laryngeal carcinoma are warranted. Correlations should be made with location and extent of tumor, histology of the tumor, and previous therapy. Improvement in present results should follow the use of drugs in combination, and when used together with surgery and x ray treatments.
