Abstract
It is shown that the Green's functions of a field theory may transform covariantly under a symmetry group even though the symmetry is broken. This is a generalization of a result derived by Aviv, Hari Dass, and Sawyer for the neutral σ model. The demonstration is carried out using the formalism of effective Lagrangians.
