Abstract
The Yang-Lee Zeros for an Urn model for the separation of sand were examined by Bena, Coppex, Droz and Lipowski (BCDL). It was observed that the phase transition was the equilibrium phase transition existed in the system and the zeros examined were the Fisher zeros of the mean field system in the complex z=e-2βj plane. It was also observed that a more general case which BCDL examined could be seen more directly to be an equilibrium. It was found that the model considered only the movement of the grains between the two urns, in which no steady-state currents were possible.
