Abstract

3 measures of dependency.--The Edwards Personal Preference Schedule, Leary's Interpersonal Checklist, and a behavioural measure--were moderately related. Ss with low scores on the inventories judged the verbal reinforcement stimulus as negative or neutral. The low group shows a significant decrement when verbally reinforced for producing aggressive sentences, no differences for producing dependency words.
