Abstract

The paper reports on the development of the prototype of pump-and-probe (P&P) lidar system and its optimization for correct remote estimates of photosynthesis efficiency in higher plants. The specific peculiarities of laser-induced emission of in vivo Chl-a fluorescence from plant leaves has been taken into account.
