Abstract

Human T lymphocytes do not respond to PHA when they have been previously stimulated by dead cells in the mixed lymphocyte cultures (MLC) that are almost identical with HLA. 'Ia-like' antigen is known to be present in B lymphocytes, but is also formed among other antigens on T lymphocytes stimulated by PHA, as general differentiation antigens.
