Abstract
Previous studies of the operation of a liquid-gas porous electrode led to the establishment of a characteristic dependence of the electrode gas contents on porosity. With increasing macroporosity (i. e. , with addition of a pore generator) the gas content initially increases, passes through a maximum, and then decreases. The gas contents based on a model of biporously structured medium is calculated. Qualitative agreement was obtained with experimental data.
