Abstract
The kinetics of the insertion of Na into the layered NaxMo2O4, system upon charge and discharge has been studied by means of ac-complex impedance spectroscopy. The Nadiffusion coefficient values'deduced correlate well with the structural modifications occurring in these monoclinic molybdates upon Na intercalation, namely, change from trigonat prismatic coordination for low sodium content tooctahedral for higher content.
