Forensic Psychiatry and Forensic Psychology: Forensic Psychiatric Assessment

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Psychiatric and psychological assessment requires the logical organization of data. A four-step method for assessment - issue, legal criteria, data, and reasoning - assists in the organization of an assessment. The authors identify essential aspects of each of these four steps, offer practical advice, and present a template for a psychiatric or psychological forensic report.
