Abstract

We have analyzed the patterns formed by water flowing over an inhomogeneous incline and have found fractal scaling behavior in the downhill direction, with [Formula Presented]. The observed behavior is consistent with recent theoretical predictions involving nonlinear fluid flow close to threshold conditions.
