Abstract

The clinical strength of gait analysis is in assisting the separation of cause and effect in pathologic gait. Furthermore, it is useful to distinguish gait pathology from compensation. For these purposes, a gait analysis facility based on biplanar videotaping technique has been established. This noninvasive method preserves normal gait patterns. The patient's other general therapeutic activities are also recorded on this same tape.
