Abstract

In this paper, a novel dispersion engineered antenna array is proposed. By properly choosing the feeding coefficients and spacing of each element of the antenna array, we are able to synthesize the group delay dispersion (GDD) in the antenna's far field where the waves are spatially combined. In addition, we will show the GDD created by the antenna array is angle dependent. This novel antenna array is very promising for radars and other security applications.
