Abstract

Two fashionable contemporary intellectual movements, hermeneutics and social constructionism, are explored and contrasted. The relationships among anti-foundationalism, hermeneutics, and relativism, on the one hand, and conceptualizations of psychotherapy and behavior therapy, on the other, are examined.
