Abstract

Hyperfine polarization of ⁸⁷Rb atoms in the vicinity of coated and uncoated Pyrex glass surface was studied. Gradient coefficient of the hyperfine polarization was also investigated. It was found that the polarization near an uncoated surface decreases rapidly with decreasing distance from the surface.
