Abstract

In this study, we found that the interaction effect between perceived organizational competence (POC) and perceived organizational warmth (POW) was positively related to organizational identification (OID). We also found that OID improved subsequent organizational performance. A one-unit increase in OID leads to a 5.1 percent increase in organizational performance.
