Integrated palpation and magnetic resonance imaging to quantify breast tumors

Abstract

The use of integrated palpation and magnetic resonance imaging to quantify breast tumors was discussed. The normalized image intensity obtained for the selected coronal slices by palpation with a single indentor was studied. A fibrocystic model with no load and with 50% displacement was also presented.
