Abstract

We investigate the properties of Love wave propagation in layered functionally graded piezoelectric material(FGPM) structures loaded with viscous liquid. The piezoelectric material is polarized in the z-direction and the material properties change gradually along the thickness of the layer. We here assume that the liquid is conductive. The solutions of dispersion relations are obtained by means of transform matrix method. The effects of the gradient variation of material constants on the phase velocity and attenuation are presented and discussed.
