Mass transfer through ion exchange fibers during the secondary electroosmosis

Abstract

Analytical expressions are obtained to describe the regularities of mass transfer through ion exchange fibers under recirculation of the used solution. Theoretical regularities have been compared with experimental ones, possible reasons of deviations from the estimated values have been analysed. The results obtained confirm conclusion to the existence of influence of the surface curvature on mass transfer.
