Maximum Likelihood Estimation and Likelihood Ratio Test with Incomplete Pairs

Abstract

In this paper, we show how to implement the maximum likelihood estimation and likelihood ratio test for binary pairs in the situation where some of the pairs are incomplete. The computations are described by using the EM algorithm. The procedure is illustrated by one biomedical example.
