Abstract
This article uses results from a series of national public opinion surveys to shed light on the views and concerns of American workers and employers. The article explores five major themes that have emerged from the surveys and then proposes ways that policymakers, employers, and workers can understand, adapt to, and accept the ever-changing labor market and economy.
