Molecular design and delivery of antisense oligonucleotides

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

An account is given on work towards overcoming two of the barriers to antisense effectiveness. The first work concerns the development of molecular targeting strategies for the delivery of high concentrations of active oligonucleotide to a specific cell type. Second, given the variable and often poor affinity of antisense sequences, strategies for the rational design of high affinity antisense sequences are detailed.
