Abstract
This article estimates African American-white wage gaps across occupations using data from the 1999 to 2002 Current Population Survey Merged Outgoing Rotation Group files. The article's key feature is the use of decomposition techniques developed in Horrace and Oaxaca (2001) that generate identified industry-specific estimates of the gender gap.
