The observation that the structure of this material is sensitive to levels of doping sufficient to produce superconductivity (Tc ∼ 40 K) suggests an important role for structure in determining its electronic properties. Here we discuss unusual features of phase separation and studies of cooling rate dependence of the superconducting Tc relevant to this proposition.
