Abstract

This article address several issues relevant to 2 Kgs 9:36-37. The most crucial of these is that the first word in v. 37, Ketiv (Greek words) / Qeri (Greek words) , should stand, contra the recent proposal by Jerome Walsh to read the noun 'ruin, destruction' here.
