On the vibrational model of 92Pd and comparison with 48Cr

Abstract

It was found experimentally that the yrast I = 2+, 4+ and 6+ states of 92Pd are almost equally spaced suggesting a vibrational band. We consider to what extent this should be considered as an evidence of maximum J-pairing for this nucleus.
