Abstract
Drugs within the ACE inhibitor class may be differentiated by criteria related to chemical structure, potency, metabolism, and pharmcokinetics. Duration of action, the relationship between chemical structure and clinical activity, and the need for bioactivation currently represent the most clinically relevant differences amongst the ACE inhibitor class.
