Abstract

In this paper we give the summary of main results obtained in the context of singularly perturbed linear control systems within the last ten years with emphasis on recursive approach, exact closed-loop decomposition transformation (Hamiltoniam approach), and integral manifold theory-high accuracy techniques. In addition, we indicate the recent results obtained for H optimal control and filtering, jump parameter linear systems, control of robots, stability bounds, Markov chains, and nonlinear singularly perturbed systems.
