abstract = "A unique case study is presented of active development for Fiddlehead Corner, a sharing community arising on 90 acres of cooperatively-owned land. New construction will enable the integration of technology-enabled healthcare services to support care coordination. On-site monitoring and communication with nursing and other health professionals' tools and electronic records will be key to co-op members' ability to safely maintain their lives in keeping with their own goals and preferences. Plans for the design and implementation of safe and joyful aging are discussed in alignment with over a decade of community-based care research and experience for people, process, and technology.",
