Salmonella as a causative organism of acute pyelonephritis during pregnancy

Abstract

We report a rare case of acute pyelonephritis caused by Salmonella typhimurium in a pregnant patient who presented with abdominal pain and who responded well to intravenous antibiotic therapy.
