Abstract

This article focuses on resources for science reference available on the Internet. The types of resources covered include: anonymous FTP files and archives; telnet and finger sites; electronic journals and Usenet conferences; and access tools like gophers and WAIS. Examples of these resources are shown for: General Science, Agriculture, Biology, Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences and Mathematics. Appendices list network addresses of cited resources as well as additional sources not covered in the text.
