Spin-dependent forces in a semiclassical model of confinement

The model of charges immersed in a magnetic monopole superconductor, which may simulate confined quarks, is used to estimate the spin-dependent part of the confining force. The spin-spin interaction is found to be short range. Its range is estimated. The coefficient of the linear confining force and the density of the monopoles in the superconductor are also calculated.
