Abstract

Multidisciplinary scientific teams are crucial for addressing formidable health problems. The increasing need to design, collect, analyze, and interpret health data places biostatisticians at the center of team science. Nuanced practice of leadership, accepting diversity, conflict management, and credit sharing are crucial for effective integration of biostatisticians into team science.
