Abstract

The total resistance of a tunnel junction between superconductors with unequal energy gaps is found to be negative at voltages {divides} V {divides} < (Δ1 - Δ2)/e, if a sufficiently high concentration of excess quasiparticles is created in a larger-gap electrode. The experimental data are in good agreement with the theory /1/.
