Abstract
The optimal therapy of Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS) in the setting of AIDS is still to be determined; however, it is fair to say that there is no curative therapy for AIDS-KS, and despite the widespread use of antiviral therapy with zidovudine (azidothymidine), it has been found to be of no benefit in controlling the extent of KS or on restoring the immune function.
