Abstract
Two-dimensional transforms of the chrominance components of the NTSC color video signal are studied. The effects of interlace and subcarrier modulation on the spatial frequency spectra are treated in detail. A two-dimensional FFT algorithm is proposed and shown to be more efficient than conventional ones,.
