Abstract
2-D transforms of the chrominance components of the NTSC colour video signal are studied. The effects of interlace and subcarrier modulation on the spatial frequency spectra are treated in detail. A 2-D FFT algorithm is proposed and shown to be more efficient than conventional ones. -Authors
