Abstract

Three reliability models are presented. Model I presents a repairable system with one identical standby unit where components are liable to two failure modes. Model II presents a similar system to that of Model I, but components fail only in one failure mode. In Model III a system similar to that of Model I with no standby unit is presented. Expressions for system availability and system reliability are developed for each model.
