Abstract

In this paper we present a safety analysis framework to model safety issues that specifically addresses scenarios that would result when UAS aircraft are integrated into the National Airspace System (NAS). This safety analysis model, which is hereafter called USAM (UAS Safety Analysis Model), is a data-driven, integrated, and comprehensive framework for safety analysis.
