Abstract
Vitamin E per unit serum cholesterol has been found to correlate with memory performance in a recent analysis of data from the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Because vitamin E is thought to be protective against vascular disease, this finding is consistent with the growing body of evidence that implicates vascular disease and vascular disease risk factors in age-related cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease.
